PhD. Water Resources and Environmental Engineering
The postgraduate programme in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering is designed to train high level manpower to man the State Water Boards, River Basin Development Authorities (RDBA) and higher institutions of learning. The existing programme has been modified and restructured into three areas of specialization, namely: Hydraulics and Engineering Hydrology, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
The Department offers both Masters and Ph.D degrees in the three specializations:
(i) Hydraulics and Engineering Hydrology – All common courses and WREN 802, 804, 806, 808, 810, 814.
(ii) Irrigation and Drainage Engineering – All common courses and WREN 802, 804, 808, 810, 816, 826.
(iii) Environmental Engineering – All common courses and WREN 810, 818, 820, 822, 824
